Follow the instructions below to quickly set up your Multi-CDN:
- Navigate to the Origins page and create a new origin.
- (Optional) To set up an origin shield, go to the Distributions page and create a new Shield Distribution by selecting the Shield CDN tab.
- If you intend to use your own domain name, you must upload a corresponding TLS/SSL certificate. To do this, visit the Certificates page and add a new certificate.
- If you prefer not to use your own domain, you may utilize Leaseweb’s shared TLS/SSL certificate by selecting the Shared TLS/SSL option during distribution creation.
- Proceed to the Distributions page and create a new distribution linked to the origin created in Step 1:
- Choose the appropriate TLS/SSL certificate as outlined in Steps 2 and 3.
- This step will initialize the distribution with basic policies.
- Click the Modify action button on your newly created distribution to configure the desired Cache, Delivery, Security and other policies.
Information
If you are using a custom domain, add a new CNAME record to your domain’s DNS configuration. Then, include your custom domain in the Domain(s) section of the distribution.
- Allow up to 30 minutes for the distribution to propagate across all CDN providers.
- During this period, you may test the setup using the CNAME target found in the distribution’s Modify section.
- Please note that some providers may not respond until propagation is complete.
- Once propagation is finalized, you can begin using the distribution with your application.
