These instructions are for the first release of the Leaseweb VPC
Assigning a private network to a VPC server
New networks are not automatically assigned to be available for the existing VPC Servers.
The default delivery method for a VPC server is:
- trunk interface, allowing only the selected VLANS
- untagged VLAN for public internet connectivity, used only for public connectivity
- all private/internal networks require the customer to manage the tagged bonded interfaces on their server OS.
Adding or removing VLANs from a server means adding or removing it from the trunk interface on the switches, which is done by Leaseweb on request of the customer.
The server configuration is responsibility of the customer.
For instructions on how to configure the serverside, please see the page on VPC Bonding instructions.
