When you send a package to the Data Center, it is mandatory to announce the shipment beforehand to handle it properly.
Announcing a new shipment
Warning
The Leaseweb Shipment Policy (see below) applies to all items shipped to the Data Center. Hence, it is recommended that you review the rules before registering a shipment.
Perform the following steps to register a new shipment that is due to arrive at a data center
- Log in to the Leaseweb Customer portal using secure.leaseweb.com
- Once logged in, you’ll land on the dashboard. Click the “Support” Tab on the menu on the left.
- Click “Tickets” from the options under Support. Then, click “Create a new ticket” in the top right corner.
- From the ticket details, click “Datacenter Shipments” and fill in the details
- Enter the following information and click Submit:
- Select a topic: Select the option to Announce shipment (Package) for Colocation OR if you have questions about a shipment.
- For announcing shipments, enter the following details:
- Tracking number
- Expected delivery date
- Weight (kg) of the shipped item
- Shipping company
- Customer name (Company requesting the shipment)
- Size in cm (Width x Height x Length)
- Add details for another shipment where you have multiple packages.
- Enter the Subject of your message
- Type in your Message
- Upload a file (Max. 5MB) where applicable
- Click Submit.
Shipment policy & shipment charge
The Leaseweb Shipment Policy is specified in Chapter G. Facility Operations Policy of the Leaseweb Policy document. This document also specifies the shipment charge.

Remember that you must notify Leaseweb of any intended shipment to the Data Center, at least two (2) business days before the intended delivery date of the Equipment.
Please use the shipment notification form available in the Customer Portal. The charges mentioned above apply to all shipments sent to the Data Center and any unannounced shipments will be subject to penalty charges. Please check the Leaseweb Policy documents from above accordingly.
