What is a DNS Query
A DNS query is a request from a client, typically a browser, application, or system, to a DNS server to resolve a domain name into its corresponding IP address or retrieve other DNS record information. You can check the DNS query made for a domain from the Leaseweb Customer Portal.
Filtering DNS requests for the domain
- Login to the Leaseweb Customer Portal
- Click on the Hosting
- Expand the domain that you want to check the DNS query for

- Click Manage Domain under the Actions Menu

- Click DNS -> DNS Metrics from the menu

- Select the Granularity, From date and To date to check the DNS query for the domain
- Click Filter Metrics to get the result

- The Y-axis represents the number of DNS queries for the domain
- The X-axis represents the period of the DNS query requested for the domain
