From the Elastic Compute Details page, you can view the Technical details and Administrative details of your Elastic Compute domain. It is also possible to view Data traffic usage, upgrade your Resource pool, RAM, Memory and/ or Disk space and manage Bursting.
Managing your Elastic Compute
Perform the following steps to open the Details page for your Elastic Compute.
- Login to the customer portal and click on Elastic Compute under Cloud Compute.
- Select the Elastic Compute contract and click Manage Elastic Compute.
- Here you will see different tabs with information regarding your Elastic Compute.
Technical Details
In this section, you can view the details of your Elastic Compute domain.
Products details:

| Domain Id | The Domain is your unique Elastic Compute environment ID, also needed when you are logging in to CloudStack Dashboard. |
| Account Name (username) | Your account name for your Elastic Compute, also needed when you are logging in to CloudStack Dashboard. |
| CPU, Memory and Storage Limit | With a Resource pool you have a limited amount of CPU, Memory and Disk space resources to allocate to virtual machines and networks. The amount of resources is defined in your contract and can be upgraded if you are in need of more resources. |
Administrative details
In this section, you can view the administrative details of your Elastic Compute.
Products details:

| ID | Displays the Elastic Compute ID, a unique numerical identifier for the Elastic Compute domain. |
| Data Center | Displays the data center in which your Elastic Compute is located. |
| Connectivity | Displays the current data pack of the Elastic Compute. |
| Start Date | Displays the date from when the contract started. |
| End Date | Displays the date from when the contract ends, if it was canceled. |
| Billing Cycle | Displays how frequently the invoice is generated. |
Viewing your current resource usage
In this section, you can see how much CPU, Memory, and Primary storage you are using.
Viewing your IP range in networks
In this section, you can see the public IP range that has been assigned to your account.
Viewing the usage graphs
In this section, you can see the Usage graphs of the resource over a period of time. You need to select two specific date ranges and the resource type you want to see.
The below diagram shows the usage graph for the network usage.
Setting up Data traffic notification for Elastic Compute
In this section, you can configure Data traffic notification to receive an email when your data traffic usage reaches a certain threshold.
- In the Elastic Compute overview page click on the tab link Data traffic notifications to see the following screen
- Here you can configure at what threshold to be notified and the frequency of the mailing.
- Click on Update to save the settings.
Upgrading resources
With a Resource pool you have limited resources to keep creating services in your Elastic Compute. In the customer portal an upgrade of the Resource pool can be requested to increase the limit of the pool and thus allowing you to further expand your cloud environment.
- In the Private Cloud Information tab, under the Technical Details section, click on Upgrade
- The follow interface appears, allowing you to add resource to your Resource pool.
Note: resources are sold with a certain ration of 1 to 1.5, meaning with each CPU core 1.5GB of Memory is added. Separately you can increase the size of your Primary storage pool. - Click on Submit after selecting the right sizes to upgrade, you will get a confirmation message and we will process the upgrade as soon as possible.
