Domains: CloudStack

When you obtain a Private Cloud, you get a pre-configured domain with resources allocated to it on our infrastructure. Domains are organisational units that contain user infrastructure within the limits of resources allocated to the domain. From the Domain page, you can view information about resources related to your domain. To update the resource limits, you can contact your Account Manager. Once updated, the new limit for the resources will reflect under Domains. When the limit is set to "-1",it suggests that the resource is unlimited.

Updating Resource Count for a Domain

When you update the resource count for a domain, it updates and displays the latest information of the actual usage of some resources. On updating the resource count, the updated information of your domain (such as the number of instances, accounts, and volumes) displays.

This page also displays the limits of your domain. If you request an upgrade/downgrade of your CloudStack infrastructure, it will display here.

Perform the following steps to update the resource count for a domain:

  1. On the left panel, click Domains.
    The Domains page displays.
  2. Click the domain name.
    The Details tab displays.
  3. Click the Update Resource Count icon.
    A Confirmation dialog box displays.
  4. Click Yes to update the resource count.
