When you start with Public Cloud, you can launch up to 20 instances in your account globally. This instance launch limit is a default setting and upon reaching the limit, it prevents you from launching more instances.
You will be informed of this at the time of launching an instance. To launch more instances, simply remove one of your previously created instances, or request an increase of the limit.
Information
Note that both running and stopped instances are counted as part of the limit.
The instance launch limit applies to any kind of instance, including the default instance types, the load balancer instances and any instances created by the auto-scaling group.
