Viewing contact information
Perform the following steps to view your contact details:
- Log in to your customer portal account and click Contact Management under the Shortcuts left panel or from the Administration drop-down menu.
- The contacts are displayed.
Changing general company information
Perform the following steps to change the general company information:
- Click the Edit button.
The Update Company General Information pop-up window displays.
You can make the following edits:Field Type Company Name This field cannot be changed. To update this, please contact administration@leaseweb.com. Tax number This field cannot be changed. To update this, please contact administration@leaseweb.com. Primary email This field cannot be changed. To update this, please contact administration@leaseweb.com. Street Edit the street of the contact person.
House number Edit the house number of the contact person.
Postal code Edit the postal code of the contact person.
City Edit the city of the contact person. Country This field cannot be changed. To update this, please contact administration@leaseweb.com. Click the Confirm button.
Managing Primary Contacts
Perform the following steps to assign a primary role to a contact:
- Log in to your customer portal account and click Contact Management under the Shortcuts left panel or from the Administration drop-down menu.
- Click any of the Promote buttons for any of the (primary) contacts.
- The Promote page displays. It is only possible to assign a primary role in this form. When that role is already assigned to another contact, that contact will lose it
You can make the following edits:

Select Primary Role
Select an option from the list: Primary General, Primary Technical, Primary Billing, Primary Security.
The changes that would apply in this scenario are displayed a “checkmark” for added role a “cross” for role removed.
Managing Contacts
Perform the following steps to manage all contact details (these include all the contacts that are added to this account):
- Log in to your customer portal account and click Contact Management under the Shortcuts left panel or from the Administration drop-down menu.
- Click any of the Edit button for any of the (primary) contacts.
The Update Contact Details page displays.
It is not possible to change the First Name and Last Name of a contact, but it is possible to delete a contact and create a new one with another name. (delete is not possible when a primary contact role is assigned)
You can make the following edits:
Field Type Role select an option from the list: General, Technical, Billing, Security. When a specific primary role is assigned for the selected contact, the subsequent role is not editable. Title select an option from the drop-down list: Mr., Ms., Mrs First Name Edit the first name of the contact person. Last Name Edit the last name of the contact person. Phone - Select the country code from the drop-down menu
- Edit the phone number
Mobile - Select the country code from the drop-down menu
- Edit the phone number
Primary email Edit the primary contact email of the contact person Click the Confirm button.

What are Contacts?

What are Primary Contacts?
The General Primary contact is the contact person in your organization that Leaseweb shall communicate with for all matters regarding your customer account and related Leaseweb services. There are three other primary roles with a different scope:
- Billing Primary contact for information regarding invoices and payments. The other non-primary Billing contact persons in the account are included in the updates, however the Primary contact person is expected to act upon financial matters on behalf of the customer account.
- Technical Primary contact for information regarding service deliveries and modification.
- Security Primary contact for updates regarding security and abuse
Each of these four Primary contact roles should always be assigned to one (and only one) contact in your organizations. A contact can have multiple Primary roles.
If your company is located in the United States
If your company is located in the United States and you need to change your address details, a state field is available for you.

If you want to automatically configure a contact using our Customer Account API when you have a new colleague joining your company, you can configure your new hire's telephone number using country codes and their international dial codes.
