Managing Public Cloud instance snapshot

A snapshot allows you to create a secure and efficient restore point, enabling you to easily undo any modifications made to your disk at a specific moment in time. However, it is important to note that a snapshot is not a substitute for a backup, and both should be utilized in conjunction to ensure comprehensive data protection for your instance.

Create a snapshot of an instance

1. Go to your Leaseweb Customer Portal account.
2. From the menu, select Public Cloud, choose your instance and click Manage instance
3. Go to the Snapshot tab in the instance overview page.
4. Click on Create Snapshot and provide a name for the snapshot.
5. Start the creation of a snapshot by clicking Submit.
6. The snapshot details are added and displayed in the Snapshot tab
7. You are now able to restore to the snapshot point or delete the taken snapshot.
