DescriptionTwo factor authentication: Cyber SecurityContents

Introduction

Two factor authentication is an optional but highly recommended security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your LeaseWeb Security account. Once enabled, LeaseWeb will require a six-digit security code in addition to your password whenever you sign-in to the Control Center.

The user receives a random, one-time password ("OTP") via SMS to a number previously registered with LeaseWeb. The OTP should be used in addition to the static password and it is composed of 6 random digits for better accessibility:

Enabling Two Factor Authentication

  1. Login to the Control Center
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner of any page to open your account setting page
  3. Set 'Two-factor authentication' to 'On'

  4. Enter your mobile phone number and click 'Send Code' to verify it

  5. In a few seconds you will receive a SMS message with the security code, which you need to enter to enable two factor authentication
