CDN Statistics.

Some statistics pages are currently unavailable

We are currently working hard on improving the statistics platform and will be releasing new statistics pages periodically.

Viewing and exporting statistics

The Statistics page allows you to view the traffic breakup across the globe, keep track of visitors, view files with maximum hits, and track API requests on a monthly basis.

Perform the following steps while logged into the CDN Control Panel to view the Statistics page and export data:

  1. In the menu bar, hover over "Statistics".
    The Statistics submenu will appear
Click on the statistics page you wish to view
    The Statistics page displays.
  2. Based on the type of statistics you want to view, select the date/entity/pop/zone filters to view custom results.
  3. To export the data, click the "Export" button.

Bandwidth

Bandwith

The graph displays the global bandwidth usage for the range you select.

You can hover over specific points in the graph to get the bps for normal and SSL traffic in that point in time.

95th Percentile

95th Percentile

The graphs displays the average bandwidth usage for a month per Region. By taking the bandwidth of the whole month and ignoring the top 5% the 95th percentile is calculated. It is measured in real-time (every 5 minutes).

You can hover over specific points in the graph to get the bps used in that point in time.

Traffic Volume

Traffic Volume

The graph displays the amount of traffic measured based on the filters provided. You can filter the results by point of presence (PoP), zone, and date. Based on your selection, the data can be displayed on an hourly, daily, monthly, or yearly basis.

Geo Distribution

Geo Distribution

The heat-map displays the usage of the CDN zones across the globe. The higher values are mapped to a darker color than the lower values. This way you can easily see where most of the hits to the CDN zones are coming from. The measured data is displayed in percentages.

Hits

Hits

The bar graph displays the amount of hits (HTTP and HTTPS) measured based on the filters provided. You can filter the results by point of presence (PoP), zone, and date. Based on your selection, the data can be displayed on an hourly, daily, monthly, or yearly basis. The measured data is displayed in bytes.

Cache Performance

Cache Performance

The cache hits graph displays the amount of hits each layer has received.
The cache offload graph displays the amount of bytes each layer has received.

We measure the performance of the following layers: Origin, Cache and Edge

API Requests

API Requests

The graph displays the total number of API requests sent to the API server on a monthly basis.

FAQs about Statistics CDN

What is the difference between cache and edge in the statistics page?

In the Cache Performance section of the Statistics page you will see figures for cache, edge and your origin server. "Edge" is the caching type that faces the internet and handles the incoming HTTP/S traffic. "Cache" in this context is a secondary caching layer specifically for large files, VOD and live streaming, so you will only see this in the offload graphs for pull zones of the relevant type (i.e. there is no second-level caching for Site Acceleration and small files pull zone types.)
