Contract Renewal

All contracts are renewed automatically for the same contract period as the inital Term. It is not possible to cancel your services while the contract period is still active. Please read the following article "Cancelling" for more information about cancellations and notice periods.

Cancelling

You are able to cancel your services with us in the LeaseWeb Customer Portal. Please find more information here: Cancelling Service

Here you are able to cancel your services with us. The end date of your service(s) will be calculated according to your contract term and notice period. You will receive an automated cancellation confirmation stating the correct end dates.

If you have any further questions regarding your cancellation, please contact us at contractmanagement@leaseweb.com.

note

Please note that you are an important customer for us, and we regret that you would like to cancel your services with us. We kindly ask you to communicate with us if you are not happy with any of our services.

Confirmation

Your cancellation is not finalized until you have received a confirmation from us. Always take into account the duration of your contract and the applicable notice period. If you have any questions regarding your cancellation and/or the calculated end dates, please contact us via email at contractmanagement@leaseweb.com.

Notice period

At the end of the Initial Term of an order, the order shall be renewed for successive terms equal to the Inital Term, unless either party notifies the other in writing or via the LeaseWeb Customer Portal that it does not agree to renewal of the order, taking into account a notice period of at least the following time:

Web order
  • One (1) hour, provided that such notice is submitted via the LeaseWeb Customer Portal.
  • Five (5) business days, in the event that notice is submitted by other means than the LeaseWeb Customer Portal.
Non-web order
  • One (1) hour, in the event of an Initial Term / Renewal term of one (1) month, provided that such notice is submitted via the LeaseWeb Customer Portal.
  • Five (5) business days, in the event of an Initial Term / Renewal term of one (1) month, in the event that notice is submitted by other means than the LeaseWeb Customer Portal.
  • Two (2) months, in the event of an Inital Term / Renewal term of three (3) months or longer.

Undoing a cancellation

You can undo the cancellation before the end date in the LeaseWeb Customer Portal. Please find more information here: Undo Cancellation

Contract Transfer request

To transfer your services to another party, we require some documentation from both you and the third party. We kindly ask you to send your request via email at contractmanagement@leaseweb.com.

We will then send you our "Contract Transfer Form". This form needs to be filled in and signed by both parties.

In addition, to the signed contract transfer form, we require a copy of the following documentation:

  • Corporate version:

• Chamber of Commerce registration extract (not older than 6 months) of the Assignor and the Assignee;
• Copy of a valid ID from the authorized representative of Assignor and Assignee;
• Overview of active services provided by LeaseWeb (as shown in the Customer Portal) signed by Assignor and Assignee.

  • Private version:

• Copies of IDs from the original and the new contract holders;
• Overview of active services provided by LeaseWeb (as shown in the Customer Portal) signed by Assignor and Assignee.

Please inform us if the new account holder is permitted to review the previous account history details.

As soon as we receive all the required documents and the account balance has been paid in full, we will process your (partial) contract transfer request. Assuming all documents can be verified, the process will take approximately three working days.

Please note that both the request and the required documentation needs to be send from the email address registered in the account of the current owner of the service(s).
