The Network tab shows detailed information about your IP network, such as IP addresses (public and private), datapack and traffic utilization.

Viewing network details of a Virtual Server

You can check both the instance network details and the bandwidth consumption of your virtual servers.

Viewing data pack details of a virtual server

Perform the following steps to view the data pack details and IP address of a virtual server:

  1. In the menu bar, under Cloud, select "Virtual Server".
    The Virtual Servers Overview page displays. 


  2. Click the Manage button for the virtual server for which you want to view the data pack details.
    The Server Management page displays.


  3. Click the Network tab.

    Under "Instance network details", you can view the following information:


    Field NameDescription
    Data pack nameDisplay the data pack you selected for your virtual server. For example, 4 TB, 6 TB, 8 TB, and 10 TB. It also shows if you have a "Volume" or "Premium" network.
    Public IPDisplays the Public IP address for the virtual server. You can reach the virtual maching externally using this IP address.
    Private IPDisplays the Private IP address for the virtual server. (Only for Cloud Servers)




Viewing data traffic consumption of a Virtual Server

Perform the following tasks to view the bandwidth consumption of a virtual server:

  1. In the menu bar, under Cloud, select "Virtual Server".
    The Virtual Servers Overview page displays. 
     
     
  2. Click the Manage button for the virtual server for which you want to view the data traffic consumption.
    The Server Management page displays.


  3. Click the Network tab.
    Under "Data traffic", you can view the data traffic consumption of the virtual machine.


  4. You can select the month for which you want to view the data.


    Field nameDescription
    TotalThe total amount of incoming/transmitted IP traffic for the selected month. For the current month measurements start at the 1st and run until the current date.
    ExpectedFor the current month this a estimation for the total monthly amount of incoming/transmitted IP traffic to facilitate capacity planning.
    Average per dayThe average amount of incoming/transmitted IP traffic per day for the selected month.
    PeakThe specifics for the date with the highest amount of incoming/transmitted IP traffic for the selected month.
