Setting bandwidth notifications

If a server exceeds the bandwidth or data traffic threshold limit, surcharge will be applied. To be informed about the excess you can set the notification for the server. Every time a server hits the bandwidth or data traffic threshold limit, you will be notified.

Perform the following steps to view your bandwidth notification settings:

  1. Log in to your Customer Portal account and click "Notification Settings" under the left panel or from the drop-down menu.


  2. The "Network usage" tab is displayed. By default, the "Bandwidth" metric is selected. To create or edit the bandwidth threshold limit for a server pack, click the "Edit" link for that server:

    This allows you to view the bandwidth settings information. You can set or update the bandwidth threshold limit for each server pack.

    To find a specific server, use search field in top right corner above the table.



  3. The "Notification settings for Bandwidth" page displays:

     

    You can make the following edits: 

    Field Type
    Limit Edit the bandwidth limit. If the limit is exceeded, you will get a notification.
    Send to email  Choose to which email the notification will be sent.
    To Inbox Enable receiving the notifications in your Customer Portal Inbox.
    Reminder period Choose how often you want to receive the notifications.
  4. Click the "Update" button.

    You can also edit bandwidth settings of several servers packs together.

    1. Select several server packs and click one of the "Edit selected" links under the "Action" column, or click the "Toggle all" link beside "Batch edit" (top of left column) to select all the servers:



    2. The "Edit selected" form displays:

      You can make the following edits: 

      Field Type
      Limit Edit the bandwidth limit. If the limit is exceeded, you will get a notification.
      Send to email  Choose to which email the notification will be sent.
      To Inbox Enable receiving the notifications in your Customer Portal Inbox.
      Reminder period Choose how often you want to receive the notifications.



Setting data traffic notifications

Perform the following steps to view your datatraffic notification settings:

  1. Log in to your Customer Portal account and click "Notification Settings" under the left panel or from the drop-down menu.


  2. The "Network usage" tab is displayed. By default, the "Bandwidth" metric is selected. Click the "Datatraffic" metric. 
    To create or edit the data traffic threshold limit for a server pack, click the "Edit" link for that server:

    This allows you to view the data traffic settings information. You can set or update the data traffic threshold limit for each server pack.

    To find a specific server, use search field in top right corner above the table.



  3. The "Notification settings for Datatraffic" page displays:

    You can make the following edits: 

    Field Type
    Limit Edit the data traffic limit. If the limit is exceeded, you will get a notification.
    Send to email  Choose to which email the notification will be sent.
    To Inbox Enable receiving the notifications in your Customer Portal Inbox.
    Reminder period Choose how often you want to receive the notifications.
  4. Click the "Update" button.

  1. Log in to your Customer Portal account and click "Notification Settings" under the left panel or from the drop-down menu.


  2. Click the "Newsletter" tab:


  3. Click the "Subscribe" link.
     
  4. You will get a success message and the link will be changed to "Unsubscribe":
     

    If you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter, click the "Unsubscribe" link to cancel your subscription. You will get a success message and link will be changed to "Subscribe":
