Viewing Bandwidth Usage for all Colocated Servers

Perform the following steps to view the bandwidth graphs for all of your the colocated servers/racks:

  1. In the menu bar, under Colocation, select All Datagraphs.
The All Data Traffic Graphs for Colocation page displays.
  2. From this page, you can perform the following tasks:

    Field Name Description
Click the Day icon to view the bandwidth usage of the server/rack for the current day.
Click the Current Month icon to view the bandwidth usage of the server/rack for the current month. By selecting the 95th percentile check box, the graph will also display the 95th percentile usage of the server/rack.
Click the Last Month icon to view the bandwidth usage of the server/rack for the previous month. By selecting the 95th percentile check box, the graph will also display the 95th percentile usage of the server.
Click the Hide Graph icon to hide the display of graphs on this page.

Viewing Bandwidth Usage for a particular Colocated Server

Perform the following steps to view the bandwidth usage (graph) for a particular colocated server/rack:

  1. In the menu bar, under Colocation, select All Datagraphs.
The All Data Traffic Graphs for Colocation page displays.
  2. Identify the server/rack for which you want to view the detailed bandwidth usage (names of the servers/racks are displayed on top of individual graphs), and click on that graph.
The Data Traffic page of the selected colocated server/rack displays.
  3. From this page, you can perform the following tasks:

    Field Name Description

Select this check box to display the 95th percentile usage of this server/rack.

For 95th percentile (burstable), you can have short bandwidth bursts, until you have reached the limits of your port speed. For example, if your commitment is 100 Mbps and you have a 1 Gbps port, for an average of 36 hours in the billing cycle, your bandwidth can go up to 1 Gbps without incurring any additional cost.

From the drop-down list, select one of the options provided. Based on that, you can view the bandwidth or 95th percentile usage of your server/rack on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
Click to display this—by default it is displayed. Select a date. Based on the date you select, the bandwidth graph will display from the beginning of the that month until the day that you selected.
Click to display this. Select the date range for which you want to view the bandwidth graph for the server/rack.
Click on one of the following links to download the bandwidth usage report based on the format in which you would like to view it.
By selecting the 95th percentile check box, the graph will also display the 95th percentile usage of the server/rack.
Click the Hide Graph icon to hide the display of graphs on this page.

You can also view the bandwidth usage of individual nodes of the selected colocated server/rack.

Viewing Bandwidth Usage Split between Nodes

If your colocated server/rack is connected to a redundant router setup, you can view the bandwidth usage per router in node 1 and node 2.

Perform the following tasks to split the bandwidth usage graph for a colocated server/rack:

  1. In the menu bar, under Colocation, select All Datagraphs.
The All Data Traffic Graphs for Colocation page displays.
  2. Click the "Show traffic split between nodes" link.
The individual graphs for the nodes of the colocated server/rack displays.
  3. Click on individual nodes to view detailed bandwidth usage of that particular node.
The Data Traffic page for that particular node displays.
  4. From this page, you can perform the following tasks:

    Field Name Description

Select this check box to display the 95th percentile usage of this node.

Based on that, you can view the bandwidth or 95th percentile usage of the node on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Click to display this. Select the date range for which you want to view the bandwidth graph for the node.
Click on one of the following links to download the bandwidth usage report based on the format in which you would like to view it.
Click the Day icon to view the bandwidth usage of the node for the current day.
Click the Current Month icon to view the bandwidth usage of the node for the current month. By selecting the 95th percentile check box, the graph will also display the 95th percentile usage of the node.
Click the Last Month icon to view the bandwidth usage of the node for the previous month. By selecting the 95th percentile check box, the graph will also display the 95th percentile usage of the node.
Click the Hide Graph icon to hide the display of graphs on this page.
